i’ve been having a pretty crummy week, and next week doesn’t promise to be much better. (nothing big or cause for worry. just general blech stuff). so, earlier in the week, when one of my favorite artists put up for sale a large print of one of my favorite pieces, i decided it was time for a little gift to me from me.

and today it arrived! it. is. great. i can’t wait to get a frame for it.

oh, and today we are cooking up something that is sure to ease the blues, at least a little bit:
