having to haul your trash to the dump is one thing, but having to pump your own?! yeesh, that’s just crazy. (and where i come from, just plain wrong.)

Agreed! Even after nine years of living outside of NJ I still hate it and avoid it at all costs. Luckily, sharing a car means that I’m able to slink out of doing it. (That and the fact that I have a very nice husband who allows me this one little Jersey Girl luxury).
