i’m signing on for flashback fridays!
since i recently got all of the boxes of photos from my mom’s closet, and they are not organized at all, i figure this will be a nice way to force me to go through them a bit. plus, pre-1985 were pretty cute years for me, unlike many of the post-1985 years.

this week’s theme is t-shirt, and i found this pic:

the t-shirt is from the philadelphia zoo. growing up in the trenton area, we went to the philadelphia zoo a whole lot. school field trips, birthdays, weekend outings…i probably had half a dozen t-shirts over time, and one even survives to this day!

also surviving is one of my (many) keys to the zoo:

one of the best parts of that old picture is the chair i am sitting in. it was my pop-pop’s chair and i LOVED it. it reclined, it was comfy, and it was a treat to grab a quick sit in it. it felt like i was sneaking into it when he wasn’t in it.

this makes me verry happy! i love lttle tina!

eileen, the key was for boxes that were located at every exhibit and animal pen. when you stuck the key in, the box talked and told you fun facts about what you were looking at. very interactive!
