yup, that’s right. i’m terrified of mummenschanz.

many of you who know me, already know this. but here i am, laying it out there for all of the rest to see, thanks to this week’s “this is…” theme.

i know they are supposed to be funny and whimsical, but ever since childhood they have freaked me out. to this day, my heart skips a beat and i have an awful gut reaction to them. at least as an adult i can be slightly fascinated by them, but that childhood terror still bubbles right up to the surface.

Oh my god! I have always been terrified of them, too! Now, are they are regional thing, or did they also freak out kids in California, or Minnesota?
