and actually, i believe i had 31 posts in 30 days!
the month went by so quickly, and i only had a few near-misses. i think having consistent internet access and a pre-determined topic for each day helped a lot.
now i must be off to gather together my poster making supplies. people are on their way over for an evening of indian food, cutting, gluing and stapling. the end result might just be a banner that shows up in a local walk/run for charity tomorrow. tonight should be good crafty fun!
i just got home, and started getting settled in for going to sleep and almost completely forgot to blog! that would have been lousy, especially so close to the finish line.
however, i’ve got no creative energy right now, so this will just have to be one of those get out of nablopomo free posts.
i posted something, so i’m safe!
now move along…there is clearly nothing to see here…
on mondays i have been telling you about something exciting or interesting we did over the weekend. but i pretty much covered that in the “weekend projects” post yesterday. we didn’t do anything but unpack all weekend. and nothing blog-worthy happened today either.
we spent the whole weekend unpacking boxes that we haven’t touched since we moved a year ago. we figured that since we started unpacking the weekend after thanksgiving last year, we should try to finish up this thanksgiving weekend. we got pretty darn close, too! it is all out of boxes, (or sorted and repacked for safe long-term storage) but not everything has a home yet.
but the biggest accomplishment was getting our breezeway completely empty! if you have ever seen our entryway, you know how huge this is. if you haven’t, well, just know that it was bad. everything we didn’t want to deal with, or had to come in the house, or had to leave the house was in that room. it was so bad that i don’t even have a before picture. that would have meant admitting to what a nightmare it was.
so, since this is a picture-less post, check out these double-dutch puppies:
(abby and i are going to have to start working on this skill asap)
i love that the dog near the end is so excited to get in there that they have to hold her back!
thanks, laurie, for the link.
