when you know most of your yarn has to go into storage for a month, how do you decide which skeins stay and which ones go?

the puppy cousins came to visit today.

they played and played and played…and then passed out:

they pretty much took over the whole couch for the rest of the day.

as you can see, zoe is not in her bed. abby and grendel completely took it over. the interesting thing is that abby and grendel both have beds of their own, pretty much exactly like this one…they never, ever use them.

we got some free tickets to the techy-fest digital life expo being held in new york this weekend and decided to go on saturday night. there were lots of booths and a pretty good crowd:

and checked out the super expensive, pretty, new transporter:

but decided that we will stick with our old-school slimp3 instead.

and then, after wandering around the show a bit, we went to the dl.tv meet up! tell me, can you really get any geekier?
(dl.tv is an online tech show that is made up of a few of the former screen savers. watching it is one of the many ways we keep up on what is happening in the technology world.)
