so this is it!  day 30 of national blog posting month.  i made it, with only one minor miss.  too bad i feel too crummy to truly enjoy it.    i don’t even have any new pictures to post.  bad blogger, bad.
my job interview went ok.  not great, not bad.  i’m not sure it is the right job for me.  also, i learned a valuable lesson:  when i have a massive head cold, i should probably try to reschedule my interview, rather than forging through it.  live and learn.

it has taken me almost a half hour to write the above…i think i will go get some sleep.

i can’t hear.  my ears are so congested.  i slept most of today and am finally feeling a little bit better.  my head feels about 90,000 lbs but nablopomo compells me to post.  i couldn’t bail out with just two posts left.

sorry this is such a lame post, but i keep zoning out so i should just hit the publish button and be done with it.  i have a job interview tomorrow…i hope i feel better by then or else it will be an interesting one.

it must officially be cold and flu season in western massachusetts.

this was about all the energy i could muster while tom (thankfully) threw together a small dinner for us:

he’s sick too. and at his small office today 3 people called out sick and several others were walking around like zombies. which is pretty much how we both feel.

i guess going nonstop for 2 months finally wore us down enough to catch something.

p.s.-yes, he cooked even though he is sick too, but i grocery shopped sick. so all was fair. ;D

i notice that i haven’t had many knitting or crafty posts lately. i guess i’ve been a little busy, but i think my hands are officially starting to need some crafty fun again. the few things i have made lately have been on deadline and though i am happy with those projects and enjoyed both making and giving them away they weren’t the relaxing-in-the-evening type of projects that i am beginning to crave.

perhaps i should start by looking through the binder of patterns i have already collected, though.
so much to knit, so much to knit.

having to haul your trash to the dump is one thing, but having to pump your own?! yeesh, that’s just crazy. (and where i come from, just plain wrong.)

guest photographer today is tom who is clearly trying to get me back for posting the mountain-man hat pic.

i haven’t had much time for tv since we moved in, but am happy to find out that we have channels we didn’t have in our last house and don’t seem to have lost any of our favorites. i am particularly excited about bbc america and diy network. today we also found a channel called indieplex which i have never heard of, but on our painting lunchbreak it showed the englishman who went up a hill and came down a mountain. and, for the millionth time, we got completely sucked into it. luckily it was only 30 minutes from the end, otherwise we might have lost 2 hours of painting time.

i actually really enjoy painting walls, but i think i might need a day of tv and movies in the very near future.
